Plan for Hybrid Now, Save Later

Most organisations now acknowledge that the future of work will be hybrid. The majority of execs expect that, for roles that aren’t essential to perform on-site, employees will be at their desks for between 21 and 80 percent of the time.

For teams across the organisation, this means a massive shift in terms of how they work. It’s not about the amount of time that anyone is or isn’t working from the office, it’s about the diminished likelihood of teams all being in the same place at the same time, a keystone of the old world order. This means that the fundamentals of contemporary working life have to evolve - how we collaborate, communicate, connect, how we formulate strategies and make decisions - all of this has to be reinvented.

Necessity being the mother of invention, many of our processes and ways of working have already shifted, but after 18-months of making do, many clients are feeling the strains of a zoom-laden calendar or a hastily assembled patch.

Yet 90% of organisations have not communicated a detailed vision of how this new paradigm works. 68% aren’t even sure themselves. Nearly a third of them say that their organisations lack alignment on a high-level vision among the top team.

Teams deserve more. A Thrive-based Hybrid Strategy could make the difference between success and failure in the new world order. We’ve been supporting clients with their shift to Hybrid over the last 18 months, getting results that have made a massive impact on both morale and the bottom line.
